Our Services

SVdP Exeter offers emergency food to low-income individuals and families who are residents of Exeter, Stratham, Newfields, Brentwood, Kensington and East Kingston.

Those in need of our services can visit our food pantry once per week to select perishable food items such as dairy, produce, bread and meat. We also offer non-perishable foods and personal hygiene items.

Morning Sessions:
Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday
10:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.

Evening Sessions:
Monday and Wednesday
7:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m.

Weather Closures

Any day on which Exeter public schools are closed because of weather, the pantry will also be closed. WMUR will also list the pantry as closed.

Holiday Schedule

The food pantry is open on the days and at the times mentioned above. We are closed for the following holidays:

  • New Year’s Day (January 1)
  • Memorial Day (Last Monday in May)
  • Independence Day (July 4)
  • Labor Day (1st Monday in September)
  • Thanksgiving Day (4th Thursday in November)
  • Christmas Day (December 25)

Consistent weekly healthcare services are now available through our partnership with Lamprey Health Care.

Lamprey Health Care’s mobile health services are available at our 53 Lincoln St. center on Fridays from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. No appointment is needed.

A wide range of primary-care services are provided, and no one is ever turned away for inability to pay or lack of insurance. Scan the QR code for more information.



Once per month, SVdP Exeter delivers to housebound senior citizens residing at 277 Water Street and Meeting Place in Exeter.

Residents of Exeter, Stratham, Newfields, Brentwood, Kensington and East Kingston can apply for possible emergency financial assistance once exhausting all other available resources and obtaining a letter of decision from their town welfare administrator. Examples of financial emergencies include an eviction notice or utility shutoff notice. Call (603) 772-9922 for more information about financial assistance.



SVdP Exeter offers food and emergency, financial assistance to low-income residents of Exeter, Stratham, Newfields, Brentwood, Kensington and East Kingston. For those who do not live in our service area, we are happy to direct you to your local food pantry or town welfare office for assistance.

The Community Assistance Center hosts staff from various local agencies. Our programs are available to residents of or outside our service area, and each agency has its guidelines to qualify for assistance. Please contact the agency directly for more information on their services and eligibility.
