Discover How You Can Make a Difference

SVdP Exeter relies on local individuals, organizations and businesses to continue serving our low-income neighbors in need. Please consider making a gift, whether financial, food items or your time, to allow us to continue serving the community.

Monetary Donations Are Preferred: Your tax-deductible financial donation is the most effective and direct way to help our neighbors in need. We acquire much of our food from the New Hampshire Food Bank, where the buying power of your contribution is enormous. In recent years, we have been able to buy as much as $40 of food for every $1 donated! This has a far greater impact than food donations. Please consider contributing a monetary donation to help us continue serving our low-income neighbors.

Monthly Recurring Donations: We welcome you to become an ongoing supporter of SVdP Exeter through recurring donations. Your gifts will help us become more sustainable by enabling us to plan for programming throughout the year and providing SVdP Exeter with a continuous source of funding to support community initiatives. If you are interested in becoming a regular supporter, please click here to set up your donations online, or call us at (603) 772-9922 for more information about ACH withdrawal or bill pay through your local bank.

Planned Giving: If you are interested in leaving a lasting legacy in the community, we hope you’ll consider supporting SVdP Exeter. Please contact us at (603) 772-9922 or through our contact form to learn more about your options.

SVdP Exeter is grateful for the strong community support that has helped us build a volunteer team of more than 100 caring people. At this time, we are not accepting new volunteer applications. Please check back in the future for updates on volunteer opportunities.

At our food pantry, we work to create a judgment-free environment with nutritious food choices for the whole family. We are proud to offer nonperishable food items, milk, butter, eggs, produce, bread, meat and personal hygiene items.

We accept in-person donations to our Community Assistance Center on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays between 11 a.m. and 3 p.m. Drive to the back of the building and ring the doorbell next to the double doors, and we will assist you.

Unfortunately, we cannot accept clothing or furniture donations, as our building is not configured to store or distribute them. We encourage donors to bring these types of contributions to the Wonderland Thrift Shop or Exeter Community Thrift Shop.

Prefer shopping online? Support SVdP Exeter by purchasing items from our Amazon wish list. Your generous contributions will be shipped directly to us, conveniently helping those in need.

A donor-advised fund (DAF) is a centralized charitable account. It allow individuals, families and organizations to grant tax-deductible charitable donations of cash, publicly traded stock and, in some cases, certain illiquid assets to a public charity such as SVdP Exeter. Click here to learn more about DAF.

The National Vehicle Donation Program of the Society of St. Vincent de Paul USA accepts all vehicles, including cars, trucks, motorcycles, boats and trailers.

Donated vehicles are not required to be in operational order and will be towed at no cost to you. When a donated vehicle is sold at auction, the proceeds are sent directly to SVdP Exeter and we will provide you with a receipt for tax purposes.
